So Saturday morning a package from FedEx arrived for me and I was pretty psyched to receive my skate deck display system from the guys over at Sk8ology. I ordered them a while back in February and totally forgot about them until I came home last week and saw my custom painted decks from my friend Mykim. So I emailed them and within an hour they responded. I spoke with Mark and he apologized and said that my order came up as having been sent out. He then said he would throw me a few extra display systems for my troubles, which was great because now I can hang up a few more pieces! Check it out the pics below...

UK Funky Mix
I'd like to thank Nick over at Beantown Boogiedown for hosting this beast of a mix I did a few months back for a good friend who was having a rough time. I passed it on to a few good friends and they loved it so I decided to give it up to the world and hopefully let it saturate and spread the love and good vibes that comes with... Grab the mix in the right hand column!

Back Again
So sorry for the lack of posting. I've been so busy lately between work & school that I haven't had a moment to sit down and type something up here. I figured I would just hit you with a heavy post covering a few things I have seen along my many journey's out and about over the past week or 2 and I'll try and continue to post up some goodies as the days go on.
So I went out today with all 4 of my wonderful roommates to grab some household items and such at home depot and beyond, and on our way around the city and a far we stopped to get some milk shakes over at Rancatore's. Man that frappe was good, real fucking good! By the entrance they had this hilarious sign about using the restroom. I couldn't stop laughing.
The other week as I was out and about on my way around town I spotted this sign outside some salon. Now these guys have the right idea! If only they could come up with a slogan for the mohawk problem as well!
I also had a session with my tattoo artist Markus (you can peep his stuff at www.ihatemarkus.com). He just got back from Malaysia and brought me a sweet little mask and a few stickers from one of his plane rides. My sleeve is almost done... (Knock on wood) when its finally finished I'll make sure to post up a pic or 2.
And then of course this weekend I trekked out to NYC to my friend Mykim's gallery opening at 303Grand in Brooklyn on friday evening. I made a detour over to see my friends at Self Edge and pick up a pair of Ironheart 301's. I got to see some old friends and make a few new one's too. And I have to say I had a great time with the people I made the journey with! I just wish I had a little more time to catch up with everyone I know out there!

Graduate School
So I recently started grad school and let me tell you I truly love it! I also accepted an assistantship which has allowed me to take up a new position at an inner city high school working with teen-agers and I love it thus far. But more importantly I helped build a bridge out of toothpicks and marshmellows in one of my grad classes the other evening and thats what really counts! Take a look!

Dallas Dubstep Reunion
So on my second evening in Dallas I was taken to a place called Snuffer's over in Plano, Texas. Man I had no idea how serious it was going to get for dinner when we walked through those doors.
Snuffer's cheese fries need I say more! Nothing back home compares to these bad boys hands down. I also had an awesome mushroom and swiss burger but I forgot to snap a photo due to my gluttonous activity.
Then before heading out to meet up with our good friend Joe Nice of NYC's own Dubwar we stopped at the local 7-11 where I saw a 2lb rice crispies treat. And the guy at the counter kept pressuring me to buy the damn thing.
Club Plush where the magic was happening that lovely and cold night in Dallas, Texas.
Before Joe got up behind the decks we all posed for a pic courtesy of my new G10. Came out pretty nice if I do say so myself. It was awesome to reunite with 2 of my friends in a place I had never been before and I hope to have the opportunity to do it again in some of the other great cities stateside. Then again maybe my next big trip will be to London for FWD or DMZ...
Did I mention my G10 also has video capabilities? Peep it!

Happy 2010
Happy 2010 to everyone! Sorry I've been on a bit of a hiatus. And I had to take the twitter feed down because it was corrupted. But I think things should be all good now. I've been busy helping organize the Together festival in Boston. And I have been traveling a little as well. As I write this I am in Dallas Texas visiting my my good friend and Bassic Resident DJ Pandai'a. So my first day here we hit up the La Hacienda Ranch for some serious Tex-Mex. Damn straight! After that I pretty much passed out for the next 4 hours while we watched "District 9"
The following day we headed out to a specific location that I have to keep top secret at the moment. However, the amount of vinyl in this place was amazing. The majority of it was rock and country but don't be fooled I found all kinds of amazing gems.
I even found this little puppy. Take a look at the tag in the upper right corner on the sleeve. Can you read it? It says Satellite Records! Who would have thought I would see that all the way out in Texas! Big up Melee and Pat Fontes of Satellite Boston. As a young DJ they were great mentors in giving me some direction. And I still learn a great deal from both of them! Respect.
