Desert Boots
Just this past week I applied another coat of beeswax to my desert boots, which I picked up back in September. The wear and tear I had put in over the past few months was starting to add up and front ends of the boots were really starting to dry out. But after waiting about a week I got a jar of snoseal beeswax and slapped on a fresh coat. It really brought back the life into them. It also darkened the color a little bit. Check em out.

Denim Update
So its been a while since I updated on my selvedge denim. My collection has also grown with the addition of a pair of Strike Gold Denim. I've put some wear into my IronHeart 301's and I finally washed my Imperial Shearer's for the first time. Here's a few photos take a look...

And post-wash. Check out the whiskering starting to come through on the front.
Here are the 301's:
Last but certainly not least are my new Strike Gold's. They're going to have an intense fade similar to a pair Flat Head Denim:

Vegas Vacation
So after a long hard summer I finally had a chance to take a much needed vacation & of course I went where every other respectable American citizen would go Las Vegas. Here's a little recap of a few highlights.
Old folks deciding on how big they like their balls
I found this creepy star trek claw machine. Apparently Sega is making a come back
I discovered just how bright the carpets were at the Rio
I had the option of having babes direct to me any time I wanted
On my way home I found out service animals get their own private bathroom
Twins!
I sat next to this guy on the plane ride home. His shirt says "I'm bad with names... I'll just call you dumb-#!@#!"

SF Day 3
So my third day in the city I had a bit more time to roam around. I came across some amazing graffiti, artwork, and other fine works like this one.
Then I made my way over to lower Haight to hit Upper Playground for a few goodies. They had a slew of Sam Flores originals that had I known this I would have snagged one! Anyways check em out, they were selling for $200 a piece.
After hitting UP I was walking along when I came across this amazing wall mural!

SF Day 2
My second day in SF involved me jumping on the wonderful and amazing Bay Area Rapid Transit or better known as simply the BART. I headin' into the city to take hit up the SFMOMA where they were celebrating the museum's 75th anniversary. As I walked in I threw on DubWar Podcast 9 mixed by Headhunter and went off to explore.
On my travels I saw works by Warhol, Barry Mcgee, and a whole bunch of greats, but I thought it best to leave you all with this lovely sculpture. Just take a moment to stare into the eyes of the beautiful monkey bubbles.
2nd Floor bathroom of the SFMOMA (I used the urinal on the left)
After I made my way through the museum I dipped back out onto the sunny streets of SF to meet up with an old friend, and as I was trekking across town I stumbled upon this amazing mural by Sever and few other mean street writers.
Then I headed over to the water to check out the bay bridge to Oakland and grab a drink.
I stopped by this place Sinbad's that looked like it was stuck in the 70's on the inside and all the people there for dinner were 48+. I finished my drink, dropped a deuce and jetted out to meet up with some friends for dinner and drinks. We hit an Irish pub for a drink and some douche spewed all over the bathroom without hitting the bowl. See for yourself...

Return to SF
Last week I made another trip out to San Francisco for a little vacation after wrapping up my first semester of grad school. I landed Weds afternoon and met up with an old friend from my high school days who lives just outside the city. We jumped in the car and hit this all you can eat sushi spot called liquid sushi. It wasn't anything spectacular but got the job done nonetheless. After that we kicked back or a bit before scoring tickets to the Giants/Padres game at AT&T Park.
I have to say the place was great and our seats weren't too bad either. In fact, walking around the stadium I noticed that none of the seats were bad, and there were no "partially obstructed seats" like we have back home at Fenway. However, the park had some empty spots and definitely wasn't as wild as a group of Red Sox fans.
The couple in front of us were hardcore fans. You can't see them all but that woman had somewhere between 30-40 pins on that hat.
While the guy next to that couple had on a beautiful disney hoodie that I found myself envying all through out the game.
I also learned that AT&T Park is home to some of the best garlic fries around. Fenway get on that shit.
And on our way out I snapped a quick shot of downtown.
